Windsor police have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault in the city’s east end and say there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.

Officers responded shortly after 6 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2025, to a report of a sexual assault in the 3000 block of Seminole Street, which is near the Ford Test Track.

Investigators learned the suspect met the female victim shortly before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Wyandotte Street East and Langlois Avenue. Police say the suspect then drove the victim to a park, where they engaged in consensual sexual activity.

When the victim attempted to end the interaction, police say the suspect became aggressive, displayed a firearm and made threats to kill the victim. The victim was able to escape and ran to a nearby business, where police were contacted.

The Windsor Police Service Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and identified a suspect believed to be responsible.

On Jan. 7, 2026, officers located and arrested the suspect in the 1600 block of Alexis Road.

A 32-year-old man is charged with sexual assault with a weapon, occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm, pointing a firearm, forcible confinement and uttering threats to cause death.
