Calgary police are asking the public to help identify a man who was suspected to be involved in an assault and robbery that took place in Fish Creek Provincial Park.
The incident took place on Thursday Oct. 23, 2025, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., when a man was approached by an unknown man while he was walking along Fish Creek Provincial Park near Bow Bottom Trail and 153 Ave. S.E.
Police believe that the suspect demanded the man to hand over his belongings.

A fight ensued, where the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim.
He then robbed him and fled the area.
After exploring all possible avenues in the investigation to identify the suspect, CPS is now turning to the public for support.
The suspect is described to be a man in his late 40s, 6’2″ tall, approximately 170 pounds, with a slim build. At the time, he was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, black baseball cap, blue jeans, and blue Adidas shoes with white stripes.
Anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234, or submitting a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
