Police are searching for a 41-year-old woman from Ebb and Flow First Nation, located 185 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, who has been missing since last week.

Becky Samantha McIvor, 41, was last seen on Dec. 20, and her loved ones have not heard from her since, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP said in a news release on Friday. She was reported missing on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Police describe McIvor as five feet five inches tall, 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. A clothing description was not provided, police said.

On Friday, the First Nation's fire department conducted a ground search for McIvor alongside her family and community members, police said. The RCMP said officers are doing interviews to figure out a timeline of when and where she was last seen.

Anyone with information on McIvor's whereabouts is encouraged to call the Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP at 204-447-3082. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
