The Ottawa police are asking for assistance in the search for a 15-year-old who has not been seen since Dec. 17.

Colton Dawe was last seen in west-end Ottawa, and at the time he was wearing a puffy grey jacket, a white or black sweater, blue plaid pyjama pants and black Crocs, police said in a news release Monday.

Police said Dawe, known to use public transportation, frequents the Rideau Shopping Centre, Place d’Orléans, College Square, the St. Laurent Shopping Centre and downtown Ottawa.

He was described as white and 5-1 with short, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Dawe or has information about his whereabouts was asked to call the police at 613-263-1222, extension 7300. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestoppers.ca.
