NFL WEEK 16 PICKS: Bears can take advantage of injury-ravaged Packers

L.A. Rams +1.5 over SEATTLE

If there’s one thing we can agree on, it’s that these two teams need to meet again in the playoffs.

WASHINGTON +6.5 over Philadelphia

While the Commanders rightly are looking towards next year with Jayden Daniels, they’ll never roll over against the rival Eagles. It’s not like things are so cheery for Philly right now, either.

CHICAGO +1 over Green Bay

The Bears are looking for some revenge after losing to their rival just a few weeks ago and this is much different Packers team. Green Bay has been wracked by key injuries and will be in tough to hold off the hungry Bears at Solider Field.

DALLAS -2.5 over L.A. Chargers

It’s hard to back the Cowboys defence these day but the Chargers have had serious issues on the offensive line the past few weeks. Dak Prescott and Co. can still put up points at home, too.

MIAMI +4 over Cincinnati

Is Quinn Ewers really three points worse than Tua Tagovailoa? Probably not at this point and it’s not like it’s hard to look good against the Bengals defence.

Kansas City -3 over TENNESSEE

Yes, Patrick Mahomes is out for the season and the Chiefs’ playoff hopes are dead, but there still remains some amount of pride for this team to play for and Andy Reid will have a good game plan cooked up for Gardner Minshew to execute.

Minnesota -3 over NEW YORK GIANTS

J.J. McCarthy’s emergence might have its biggest test yet – and it’s not the Giants defence, it’s the field at MetLife Stadium. He does have some decent cold, outdoor experience from his Michigan days and we’d back him over the lameduck Giants.

Buffalo -10 over CLEVELAND

Josh Allen will be on the run from Myles Garrett, but the Bills are flying on offence and should be able to put up some points, even against a stout defence.

CAROLINA +3 over Tampa Bay

Both teams appear to be slumping towards the finish line, but the real key matchup is likely going to be the rematch in two weeks. We’ll take the points with a live home dog.

NEW ORLEANS -4.5 over New York Jets

What Tyler Shough has done so far is pretty respectable, especially considering the situation the Saints have been in this season. The Jets continue to embarrass themselves week after week while New Orleans at least looks competent.

DENVER -3 over Jacksonville

Trevor Lawrence rightfully got the headlines last week for his massive performance, but this Broncos defence should make him look like the same pedestrian pivot that we’ve been watching for years.

Atlanta -3 over ARIZONA

The Falcons have had some extra prep time for this one after a big Thursday night win, providing a solid advantage while travelling west. Atlanta also could be getting Drake London back from injury and Bijan Robinson remains a constant threat.

HOUSTON -14 over Las Vegas

The Raiders might turn back to Geno Smith and is that even a good thing? Houston should run away with this one.

DETROIT -7 over Pittsburgh

Things are going a bit too well for Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers, who will be on a short week against a Lions team that cooks at home.

New England +3 over BALTIMORE

Last week’s results likely heavily influenced this one, but can you really count on the Patriots to choke like they did in the second to Josh Allen and also for the Ravens to look better than they have all year again?

INDIANAPOLIS +6 over San Francisco

We’re all happy for Grandpa Philip Rivers looking fairly decent in his return, but the more noteworthy return for this corner was the Colts defence finding its form.
