Nineteen more pistachio and pistachio-containing products have been recalled in Canada over concerns of possible salmonella contamination.
They join a growing list of pistachio-related products under recall, amid an ongoing food safety investigation.
The public can check the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)'s recall listings to scroll through a combined list of more than 200 such products, which is regularly being updated.

As of Tuesday, the following 19 products are now also under recall, in new listings involving eight provinces:

Pistachio kernels, in varying quantities, sold at Big Bazaar, located at 8112 Scott Rd., Unit #420, Surrey, B.C., from Aug. 11 to Nov. 26.

Raw pistachios, sold in 200-gram quantities, at Greco's Specialty Foods Market located at 6886 King George Blvd., Surrey, B.C., from July 12, 2024 to Nov. 24, 2025.

Pistachios, sold in varying quantities at the Sunrise Market at 300 Powell St., Vancouver, from July 9, 2024, to July 9, 2025.

Raw, shelled pistachio kernels, in 10-kilogram quantities, sold under the Tootsi brand to hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. The affected products have a UPC number of 10828779103060 and a lot number of 011103.

Raw, shelled pistachio kernels, sold in one-kilogram quantities under the Yupik brand and distributed in B.C., Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. The affected products have a UPC number of 8 05509 10306 7, a lot number of 25189, and a best-before date of Jan. 8, 2027.

Raw pistachios, of varying quantities, sold at the Chahine Supermarket located at #1-7196 Temple Dr. NE, in Calgary, from Oct. 29 to Dec. 31, 2024. The affected products have UPC numbers starting with the digits 2 006020, according to the CFIA.

Pistachios in one-pound quantities, sold at the Al Noor Halal Meat & Grocery store located at 2497 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, B.C., from Jan. 22 to March 31, 2025.

Pista, in 200-gram quantities, under the A-1 Spice brand, sold at A-1 Spice Grocery located at #96-5555 Castleridge Blvd. NE in Calgary from Oct. 18, 2024 to Dec. 11, 2025. The affected products have a listed UPC number of 10021.

Pista, in 400-gram quantities, under the A-1 Spice brand, sold at A-1 Spice Grocery located at #96-5555 Castleridge Blvd. NE in Calgary, from Oct. 18, 2024 to Dec. 11, 2025. The affected products have a listed UPC number of 10022.
The CFIA says these recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the locations where they were purchased. They should not be consumed.
