The Stuart Skinner era is officially over with the Edmonton Oilers, as the team pulled the trigger on a move for help between the pipes in a multi-player trade.
General manager Stan Bowman traded Skinner, defenceman Brett Kulak and a 2029 second round pick to the Pittsburgh Penguins for goaltender Tristan Jarry and forward Samuel Poulin.
Jarry, is a familiar face to Edmonton hockey fans. The 30-year-old played his junior hockey with the Edmonton Oil Kings, where he helped to a Western Hockey League title and Memorial Cup championship in 2014.
