A 68-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a pedestrian following a crash in Niagara Falls, Ont., in November, police say.
The woman, who was arrested Tuesday, has been charged with one count of careless driving causing death under the Highway Traffic Act, Niagara police said in a news release.
Police say the charge resulted from a collision between a single vehicle and a pedestrian near Thorold Stone Road and Carroll Avenue around 8:20 a.m. on Nov. 20.

Officers who responded to the scene found an injured man who was pronounced dead in a local hospital, police said.
Police spokesperson Jessica Martin told CBC Hamilton after the collision that police would not be releasing any identifying information on either party.
The woman has been released and set to appear in provincial offences court on a future date, police said in Tuesday’s release.
