A 35-year-old woman is charged with numerous offences after a pickup truck left a trail of damage in Dauphin, Man.
Police were called Monday just after 8:30 p.m. by multiple people reporting an impaired driver pulling out of a liquor vendor parking lot on First Avenue N.E.
The driver had left the vendor after being denied service and began to drive erratically down the road, RCMP said in a news release on Wednesday.

The truck pulled into another business's parking lot, where it hit a parked vehicle, causing it to collide with another parked car.
When the truck left the lot, it ran over a stop sign and then onto the lawn at another business, where it ran over a telecommunications box and caused an internet outage in the city, the news release said.

The driver continued to another business, driving across the lawn, and narrowly missed a telephone pole before the truck was immobilized by a damaged wheel near the corner of Jackson Street and First Street S.E.
The woman, the lone person in the truck, was was arrested at that spot. At the RCMP detachment, she provided breath samples that were over the legal limit for alcohol, the news release said.

While in custody, she resisted directions from police, threatened an officer and another prisoner and pulled a fire alarm, police said.
The woman, from Ochre River, is charged with:

Impaired driving.

Failure to stop after an accident.

Three counts of mischief under $5,000.
-
Mischief over $5,000.
-
False fire alarm.
-
Two counts of uttering threats.
-
Resisting a peace officer.
-
Dangerous operation of a vehicle.
