Finch LRT service halted due to blocked tracks, communication issues

The TTC says there is currently no service on the Finch West LRT between Finch West and Tobermory stations.

Around 8:30 a.m. on Friday, the transit service said “communication issues” was causing the service disruption.

Shuttle buses are running between Finch West and Humber College stations.

Communication issues had also affected Line 6 between Finch West and Driftwood stations earlier this morning.

Additionally, there is also no service between Driftwood and Humber College stations due to blocked tracks, with shuttle buses running to accommodate the stoppage .

It’s not clear how long the disruptions will last.

The long-delayed LRT opened earlier this month but has already experienced an abundance of issues with riders also complaining about sluggish service.
