Edmonton police are asking the public’s help in finding a suspect linked to a multi-vehicle, hit-and-run collision that led to the hospitalizations of five people.
In a news release Saturday, police released photos of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck believed to be involved in the crash that occurred just after 9 a.m. on Dec. 16 near Archbishop O’Leary Catholic High School on the city’s north side.
Officers were told that the Dodge was travelling north on 86 Street when it proceeded onto 132 Avenue without stopping, and struck a Honda CRV travelling east. That collision caused the Honda to strike two parked vehicles before it crashed head on into a Nissan Rogue moving west on 132 Avenue, the release said.

The Honda was carrying four teenagers, three of whom were sent to hospital. An adult woman and teen in the Nissan were also hospitalized.
All of the injuries were minor apart apart from serious injuries sustained to one of the youths in the Honda. That teen remains in hospital, police said.
The pickup truck left the scene right after the collision.
“The truck is described as an early 2010s model black Dodge Ram with front end damage favouring the front passenger side. It was last seen heading westbound on 132 Avenue,” the release said.
Anyone with information about the truck is asked to contact police.
