Kamsack RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a 40-year-old man who was reported missing late Friday night.
Daniel (Dan) Gobiel, from the RM of Keys near Key First Nation, was reported missing around 11 p.m. CST on Dec. 19, RCMP said in a news release on Saturday.
His vehicle was found stuck in a ditch and abandoned on a grid road near Norquay, east of Key First Nation, located near the Manitoba border. RCMP say Gobiel last spoke with someone shortly before 7 p.m. CST that evening, and his vehicle was not stuck at that time.

Investigators believe Gobiel may be on foot.
Family members, along with Kamsack and Canora RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Services, searched overnight for him. Police say they are concerned for his safety due to cold temperatures.
Gobiel is described as being about five feet eight inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black and brown FXR-branded jacket, work pants and steel-toed boots.
RCMP are asking property owners in the area to check farm outbuildings and sheds.
Anyone who has seen Gobiel or knows where he may be is asked to contact Kamsack RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
