Montreal weather: Go enjoy the snow. It'll be rainy by Wednesday

Wait, what season is it again? Still autumn, right? It’s hard to tell with all this back-and-forth.

Monday looks like an average December day in Montreal. It will reach a high of minus-8 C with a wind chill of minus-14 C in the afternoon. Those temps are maintained overnight with a 40-per-cent chance of flurries.

Then there’s Tuesday, the trouble child, which clears in the morning — only to cloud up again by late afternoon — and will hit a high of minus-3 C.

That’s quite a bump in temperature, but wait: It gets weirder.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for showers with a high of plus-3 C. Then there’s rain on Thursday and Friday.

Winter officially starts Sunday, but who knows what season it’ll be by then.
