More Canadians ignoring best-before dates due to higher food prices, but what are the risks?

Canadians often take a look at the best before date on food items when grocery shopping to know how long items will last, but as food prices increase some may be ignoring those dates to help stretch their dollar. A new report from the Dalhousie Agri-Food Analytics Lab found 58 per cent of Canadians said they're more inclined now to eat food near or past the best before date. Sean Previl reports.
